Terms of Use

By downloading or using TinkerDay (the “app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. TinkerDay is published by AkiziTech (“we”, “our”, “us”). If you do not agree, please don’t use the app.

TinkerDay is a casual, cognitive-habit puzzle app for entertainment purposes. Each day, everyone in an age bracket receives the identical puzzle set at the identical time, and results are ranked on a shared leaderboard. TinkerDay is not an educational credentialing service and makes no claim about skill improvement, IQ, or any measurable outcome from regular use.

TinkerDay is intended for users 14 years or older. By using the app, you confirm you meet this minimum age.

The app signs you in anonymously; you can later link Sign in with Apple to secure that same account. Each person should keep to one account — creating multiple accounts to appear more than once on a leaderboard, or to farm starter points, is a violation of these terms.

The daily leaderboard only means something if everyone solved the same puzzle under the same conditions. You agree not to:

• Automate, script, or otherwise use non-human means to solve puzzles or submit answers;
• Share that day’s answers publicly before the drop closes, in a way intended to help others cheat the shared leaderboard;
• Exploit bugs to gain points, hints, or leaderboard position you wouldn’t otherwise have earned; or
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the app or its backend services.

We may reset scores, revoke points, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

New accounts start with 100 points. Points are earned by solving puzzles and spent on optional, tiered hints. Points have no cash value, are not transferable between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for money. We may adjust point values, hint costs, or how points are earned as the app evolves.

Anyone can join a private group for free using an invite code or link. Creating and administering a group — picking topics, starting rounds, managing members — requires an active TinkerDay Premium subscription.

As a group admin, you’re responsible for the topics and content you choose to run in your group. If you delete your account, any group you created is deleted along with it, removing it for every member.

TinkerDay Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Price is shown in the app before purchase and charged to your Apple ID.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, managed through your Apple ID account settings.
• Purchases are handled entirely by Apple; refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies.
• “Restore purchases” is available to recover an active entitlement tied to your Apple ID.

Puzzle text and artwork are generated with the help of AI and may occasionally be imperfect or contain an error. If you submit a photo of handwritten work for grading, it must be your own work, and must not contain anyone else’s personal information.

You agree not to use the app to upload or submit anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else’s rights.

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that puzzle content is free of errors, that grading is always accurate, or that the app will be uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AkiziTech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for a Premium subscription in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms as the app changes. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
