Privacy Policy

Manifest is a mobile app published by AkiziTech, an independent studio (“we”, “our”, “us”). It helps you gate distracting apps behind a short daily manifestation ritual. You can reach us at support@akizitech.com.

Manifest has no account and no login. The following is saved only in local storage on your iPhone and is never uploaded to a Manifest server:

• Your goals — the text you write, their category, notes, and any images you add to a vision board.
• Your ritual history — which days you completed, skipped, or read a ritual, and the lines you were shown, which feed your streak and consistency grid.
• Your settings — theme, manifestation style, language, blocked-app selection, ritual window, and grace-skip count.

None of this is backed up to a Manifest server. If you delete the app, this data is gone unless your device’s own local backup (such as an iCloud device backup) includes it.

To write your reflection and daily ritual lines, Manifest sends the following to our generation service — a Cloudflare Worker that calls an AI model (Google Gemini or OpenAI, whichever is available):

• The text of the goal you’re manifesting,
• Your chosen manifestation style and language, and
• The day number of that goal, so the line can build on ones before it.

These are processed to generate text and returned to your device — they are not stored server-side afterward and not used to build a profile of you. There is no account or personal identifier attached to these requests; they carry a single shared app key that is the same for every install and does not identify you.

• Screen Time (Family Controls) — required. This is how Manifest shields the apps you choose until your ritual is done. Apple keeps your app selection private from us; Manifest only receives an opaque selection token, never the names of the apps you picked.
• Notifications — optional, used only to remind you when your ritual window opens.
• Photo library — optional, only if you add an image to a goal’s vision board or a share card. We access only the photo you select.

Manifest uses PostHog for product analytics, configured with no accounts and no person profiles — events are grouped by an anonymous, on-device identifier only, never linked to your name, email, or any other identity. We never send your goal text, custom category labels, or ritual lines to PostHog. What is sent:

• Screens viewed — which tab or onboarding step you’re on.
• Goal actions — that a goal was created, edited, paused, fulfilled, or deleted, tagged only with its manifestation style and category (e.g. “career”) — never the goal’s text.
• Ritual actions — that a ritual was started, completed, or a grace skip was used, with a count of active goals — never the lines you were shown.
• Settings changes — such as toggling dark mode or changing your default style, language, or ambient sound.
• Subscription events — that the paywall was shown, a plan was selected, or a purchase started, completed, failed, or was restored, tagged only with the plan type — never payment details.

Like most analytics SDKs, PostHog also automatically attaches basic technical context to every event — your device model, OS version, app version, language, and an approximate location (city/country level) derived from your IP address. This is standard geolocation enrichment on PostHog’s side, not a precise location Manifest requests or has access to, and it is never combined with your goals or ritual content.

Analytics can be switched off remotely for all installs at once via a kill switch we control, independent of app updates.

Manifest may send basic crash and performance diagnostics (via Apple’s MetricKit) to help us keep the app stable. These reports describe device and app behavior, not your goals or ritual content, and are not linked to your identity.

We rely on a small number of third parties to run the app. Each receives only what it needs for its function:

• Google (Gemini) and OpenAI — generate your reflection and daily ritual lines from your goal text.
• Cloudflare — hosts our generation service.
• PostHog — non-identifying product analytics.
• RevenueCat, via Apple App Store — manages subscription purchases and entitlements.

Manifest offers a subscription, sold as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat. Your payment is handled entirely by the App Store — we never see or store your card or payment details. We receive only the transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock subscriber features and support “Restore purchases”.

Manifest is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because there is no account and no personal data sent to us, the app collects no such information by design.

Since your goals, history, and settings live only on your device, deleting the app removes that data. We hold no server-side user database to delete from. If you have any question about data, email support@akizitech.comand we’ll help.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app.
